School Background
The Daly College was founded in 1882, to educate the sons of the rulers and the chiefs of central India. Owing to the efforts of L. Col Hugh Daly, son of Sir Henry Daly, the Government of India and the rulers of central India subscribed large sums of money and in 1906 the plan of the present building was prepared. In 1912, the new building was formally opened by Lord Hardinge, the Viceroy of India.
