School Background Nestled atop the lower Himalayan Ranges at an altitude of approximately 7,800 feet Dalhousie Hilltop School campus spreads over an expanse of 18 acres of sheer naturalness. The School is about 5 km away from the main town of Dalhousie, in Himachal Pradesh which is about 80 km from the closest railway station, Pathankot in Punjab. Sponsored by Yashi Benevolent Trust the School was established in the year 1979. The school that started with 4 little ones in the pre primary section today has a student strength of over 250 children, studying from classes 1 to 10. The student teacher ratio is a comfortable 1:10.
