School Background The history of Maharani Gayatri Devi Girls' Public School, Jaipur begins from August 12th, 1943. Her highness Maharani Gayatri Devi Ji felt the need for a school specially for the girls where they could get an all-round education and at the same time maintain Indian culture. M.G.D. has ocme to occupy a place in the front rank of public schools in the country the first Grils' Public School to be accepted as member of I.P.S.C. in 1950.
