School Mission Statement

To provide a means for the people of Raigad, its surroundings, and other areas of Maharastra, especially the ex-servicemen, to obtain excellent and affordable education for their children so as to prepare them to compete on an annual footing while seeking a career. To instill in the students, discipline and basic values such as honesty, integrity and truthfulness to enable them to tackle any career with confidence and a sense of purpose.

School Background A group of freedom fighters and social workers under the leadership of the late Nanasaheb Purohit decided to do something for the upliftment of the ex-servicemen's children. they decided to start an educational institution, which would enable the children of ex-servicemen to join the armed forces as Officers. The founders felt that the inherent disadvantages from which the children of these areas suffered- lack of good education, confidence and discipline- could be overcome by starting a residential 'military' school. the School was formally inagurated in 1990. The Junior College of Science was started in June 1993.
