School Mission Statement

The main aim of the college is to train suitable candidates for admission to National Defence Academy (NDA) and to make them fit for the honour of receiving a commission in the Armed Forces.

School Background The college was founded on 13th March, 1922 with the object of providing the necessary preliminary training for boys of Indian birth or domicile wishing to become officers in the Armed Forces of India. It was then named the Prince of Wales Royal Indian Military College. The boys on completing the course enter the National Defence Academy, Khadakvasla (Pune).
