School Background The Dr. T.M.A. Pai Foindation, Manipal was founded in 1981 to commemorate the life and achievements of Dr. Pai who, though a country doctor, by his vision and determination built a dustling township called Manipal, which is described today as an International University town. On 1st July, 1988 the Foundation set up the Sharda Residential School, named after wife of Dr. Pai. The school has gained recognition for it homely atmosphere, personality developmeent, academic excellence and good medical care.
