School Mission Statement
A public school with an Indian philosophy Sharanabasaveshwar Residential Public school, founded in 1967, is dedicated to spread the Kayaka and Dasoha Philosophy of Education of Education propounded by its founder Poojya Dr. Sharanabasawappa Appa, i.e. "Imparting educatioin is a highly enlightened Dasohabhava. Education enables all to satisfy the hunger of the spirit. The teacher should consider students as sparks of divinity, and teaching a child as a selfless and dedicated service to divinity. This act of giving spiritual, intellectual and moral enlightnment to the innocent children is an offering of flowers of knowledge to God and is, in essence, a Dasoha
School Background
The school was founded in 1967 by Poojya Dr. Sharanabasawappa Appa with the intention of making it a public school in the future. In 1970 the school was transformed into a full-fledged residential school. In 1993 the school joined the prestigious fold of the Indian Public Schools Conference (IPSC). And, the Pre-University was started in the same year, Today, it is a co-education, boarding and day school with about 3000 students from Montessori to the Pre-university level.
